To say that I am a lover of facial oils would be a drastic understatement. I truly adore my oils and although I have quite the collection, I still am always lusting after more. There is no such thing as too many oils! With that said, I have a large collection of oils that are more on the expensive side and I know that it’s not realistic for everyone to spend $50-$100 on a small bottle of oil every few months. I do think some oils are worth the extra money and if you are interested in knowing what my favorite less-affordable but brilliantly amazing facial oils are then I will definitely make a post on those!

I get asked a lot which oils are great for the face but will not cost an arm and a leg. I have compiled a list of these top four oils which are all easily available, affordable and incredibly effective. I also chose all of these oils because in my opinion they are the best for all skin types. This list is in no particular order of favorites!!

  1. Badger Damascus Rose Antioxidant Face Oil ($15.27) – This is the most expensive oil of the bunch (still affordable!) and most definitely the most delicious smelling and decadent as well. It smells like a flower garden and is incredibly relaxing. It always gives my skin a beautiful glow and is very moisturizing. It is highly absorbent, antioxidant-rich and contains healing oils like Jojoba, Baobab, Pomegranate and more! This face oil is ideal for dry, mature or combination skin, but can be used on all skin types.
  2. Acure Organics Argan Oil ($13.49) – Coined as “liquid gold”, this is by far the most effective and affordable Argan Oil out there. It is 100% organic, rich in Vitamin E, Essential Fatty Acids and is lightweight and easily absorbed! This oil is not only great for the face, but I also love to use it on my cuticles, hands, and hair!
  3. Sibu Beauty Seabuckthorn Oil ($9.98) – I don’t usually like to choose favorites but I have to say that this is definitely my favorite out of the bunch. In-fact, Seabuckthorn Oil (berry & seed) is now my every day staple. It keeps eczema at bay and reduces redness. Seabuckthorn Seed Oil has been long used as a topical treatment to aid relief of skin conditions like eczema, acne, rosacea, dermaitits, age spots, you name it! It is truly an incredibly healing oil that I can never be without. I have literally gone through five bottles of this oil because I use it day and night!
  4. Aura Cacia Jojoba Oil ($12.12) – Jojoba Oil is the first oil I recommend to anyone who is starting out in the world of facial oils. Why? because it is it is nearly identical in chemical structure to the natural oils in skin and hair, and therefor is easily absorbed without leaving a greasy residue. Here’s another interesting fact: Jojoba Oil is not actually an oil, but a wax :) It also seems to be the the oil that responds best with all skin types from dry to sensitive to oily or acne-prone. It’s a staple-oil that I think everyone should have in their home!

Have you tried any of these Facial Oils? What are YOUR favorite affordable oils?

xoxo,

Britanie
